Just a preface, I try to do my research before posting a thread so I have read the 14 page long one in this regional section and a bunch from the suspension section along with toku's stickied post. I also read up on the trd wheel page but lots of places didn't ship to Hawaii. Didn't find exactly what I needed to know so figured I'd just post my own thread and ask fellow Hawaii people for advice.
So I have a prerunner with what I believe is a 2" leveling kit on it currently. Like every other person from Hawaii I want to lift it more. I am looking to put a 3" suspension lift and a 1-3" body lift. Because it is a prerunner obviously it won't be going off road so I don't think I need any fancy lifts or anything and I'm trying to find the most affordable way to do this as possible. I am also trying to keep the truck under 7' because of ala moana's parking structure limits (haha literally a mall crawler).
Right now I'm looking at the rough country 3" lift https://www.roughcountry.com/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-745c.html?find=2006-toyota-tacoma-2wd-374202 and don't know whether the lifted struts is needed for what I'm using the truck for. I also am open to suggestions on what body lift to go with as I haven't found very many options.
I am still undecided about what tire to go with so advice on that would be nice as well. I like the aggressive look of all the popular tires posted on TW and am willing to spend a decent amount as long as they hold up well over time. I also don't want to go any bigger than 33s due to mileage. Also if anyone knows where to get the matte black trd pro 4runner wheels at the best price possible feel free to share.

get the front strut spacers and the cheapest body lift you can find. and some tsl swampers tires for the aggressive look.

21' TRD OffRoad 2" 887 OME on Bilstein 5100's. 285/70R17 General Grabbers G3 17x8.5" Icon TRD wheels (Gun metal gray) 4.75" BS
If you do the rough country 3" lift you'll need UCA's. and I assume because you're looking for a BL also you want to go 6" of lift?
I would recommend the Procomp DB. basic lift. When they gp on sale at 4WP you can get it for around $1,300. it would be a simple bolt on. (No cutting anything because you have a 2WD) For the Price it's hard to beat the Procomp kit. (But you'll need 18" wheels)

If you want the keep the wheels to 17" then you might want to look at the RC 4 or 6" DB lift kits. (sort of a weak lift kit) but you said it's just for "Mall Crawling" so it would be OK.

Not a big fan of how a BL looks. I would avoid it if possible.

Decided to go a completely different route after doing a bunch of research and reading up on the forums. I have 4 5100s and OME 885s waiting to get installed, but trying to decide what kind of body lift I want so I can have everything installed at the same time.
Will look into your recommended body lifts.
Just to be clear, I won’t need UCAs if I use the current suspension lift (2.5”) and a body lift right?
And also, with 5100s all around and OME, do I still need AAL to keep the back even?

Stick with a 1 inch body lift.
No ucas needed if you stick to 2.5 or less
Yes you still need a aal or a block in the back. The shocks alone will not raise the rear end.
