The positive is not always on (Only has power when dash is lit if I recall correctly), and I'm 99% sure on the PWM but never hooked it to my scope.
I haven't looked at the wiring for several years so just running off memory here (Which is faulty at times LOL)...

Sorry for the lack of updates guys.
    Proto V2 is being tested in my truck. Here is the final product;

Yes it's tiny! Now we are souring a PCB factory that can populate the boards for us, and with the correct spacing header pins. After that it can move to full production. It's been a long time in the making, but there is nothing like this and it will be worth the wait!

Just touch pin 1 and 4 together briefly. It's using a pull down resistor in the ECU to "ground out" and sense a activation. the other 2 wires (pin 2,3) are for the backlit LED.

As best I can tell, pin 3 on the plug is the positive for the LED light in the button. Does anyone know if that is a +12v or +5v? I don't have the truck here to check myself at the moment.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Have a ton other projects in the mix. Board has been complete but working out the minor details on fitment and the external housing.
Realized I haven't posted complete pics yet, so here are a few

    V2 ECT mod in frame
    [IMG]

Fitment in OEM ECT button. Drops right in and no wires!

The original idea was to slide the new V2 module into my custom 3d printed frame. Then that entire assembly drops into the stock button. It works, but I want something easier to produce and more OEM looking.
So I am working with my molding company to make this an overmold. Basically the V2 board gets put into the mold and then the plastic pumps around it, encapsulating it and making it essentially 1 solid piece.
Sorry it's taken a while, but it is almost ready for you guys! Innovation takes time, and will be totally worth it:thumbsup:

Yes, all V1 customers with defective units will have priority for replacements.

When it's ready I know you'll want an east coast test subject and I'm willing to submit my truck to whatever havoc this device may wreak.
You know for quality control and testing purposes before releasing to the masses. :D

    Lots, straight from the factory.
Any update on this @MESO ? I would love to get this installed and not have to try to remember to hit the button every time I start the truck.

So I just installed this mod, and I can't seem to turn it off or on. It just stays on, when I press the button, nothing, when I hold the button, nothing. Any ideas?

Edit: nevermind, just read thru all the post.
