It’s not a Tacoma but I might go take a look at this, this week. Hopefully he’ll come down on the price

    I have a lifted 2000 4runner & my wife has a stock low mileage 02 4runner. We love'em. I prefer to drive my 4runner over my tacoma.

I’ve heard nothing but good things. The age scares me a little but it is a Toyota haha. What do you think is a fair price for something like this?

I prefer the older yotas. It looks like a nice build, as long as the undercarriage is clean & not rusty I would say $7000-$7500. Personally I wouldn't pay anywhere near the asking price.

What size tires did you go with? I'm running 265/70/17 , I want to go up to 285s but don't know if it'll rub.

I think @UntamedTaco is running the pie cutters. Like 255/80 or 255/85? There are some good threads about it.

Yeah if you dont want to rub 255's are your best choice. I went with 285's cuz CMC and trimmed fender liners

huh. so, it seems that enough people are buying the toyota OEM filters that autozone now carries them on the shelf. IIRC the stock tacoma one was around $7 or so.

I saw a 3rd gen this weekend for sale, 154k miles, 4wd, manual trans though, for $6500 asking price. Had front and rear plate bumpers and a lift, very clean, don’t know about the frame though as I didn’t look:

I can give you the contact info if you are interested. I took a shot of the the for sale sign on it. I would be interested if I hadn’t bought a 4th gen T4R and it was automatic.

Yeah they do. But my local Autozone didn't have the one that I need for my 2nd gen. I had to get the mobil1 filter
