Im about 500 miles south of that.
Its brutal during the day. However man some of my early monring late evening rides the difference is night and day. Feels like im flying.

I dont know how to explain it but I call it heat weight. The heat feels heavy.

At that price I may have to give that one a try myself. Every time I stand up and look down simultaneously when pedally hard, my sunglasses instantly turn into a petri dish of dirt and sweat.
I was selfishly only thinking of me, myself and I. Another point to you sir for continuing to contribute to the community as a whole :hattip:

I know those feelings well! The heat weight here is just from the relentless humidity and scorching heat. When we get a storm front to blow through; it's like the pressure relief valve was let loose from a compressor air tank!

Man, we had some rain roll through yesterday and the humidity went to like 60%. I forgot how thick the air gets. Man do I love the dry heat and not the humid AF Virginia summers.

Seriously, Virginia summers suck. Walk outside at 7AM and it’s already 80* with 80% humidity...when I visited Reno last summer I just remember walking out in the mornings to 60-70* dry in the mornings then 100* during the day. I would take that weather over Virginia weather any day.

Kinda what I thought. its 15 bucks, how crappy can this thing really be?

Although the customer review images are unintentionally hilarious.

Its funny man since I moved out to AZ Im that guy with my windows down even though at times its like 110+ and people think im nuts yet I barely sweat here due to the dry heat. In VA I would be soaked in like 5 min by exactly what you said which I always had my ac on in the summers for.

Considering Im getting used to 115-120 degree heat now...don't miss that humidity bullshit at all man.

Yeah our humidity is terrible. Went on a ride yesterday and had to cut it short because I was running out of water due to how much I was sweating. I am going to begin waiting until 7 PM through the week to ride because it can become dangerous otherwise

Yea man I don't doubt that at all...partly why I stopped wearing jerseys and shit when I used to do dh unless it was at shoe...just couldn't breathe worth a damn. Even in a tank top though, I would still get nasty through out the day. The one saving grace people forget about...snowboard goggles with the full face. All my friends had the moto ones and man they fogged up the second they would stop on trail, but with snowboard goggs...don't happen often with the right set.

Yeah seriously. The humidity is terrible. I’d like to move out west soon. New England weather is pretty nice too, I just don’t think I could move back there.

Seemed like when Manassas did get cold, it was NE cold but not NE snow.

Of course then you'd get a few 65 in Jan days in the mix too.

Exactly haha. We get a few super cold days that are probably average for New England but no snow. And if we do it stays for like a day. Except for the random years where we get a few blizzards.

    Snowmageddon 2009/2010. Never Forget.

I was a senior in HS and had the foresight to buy a craigslist snow blower the first day of the first storm. Did ours, then our neighbors, and as I would do one driveway, the next neighbor would come out and hand me a wad of cash. I had paid off the blower and put $400 in my pocket by the end of the day.

The next storm 2 weeks later, my phone rang continuously all day.

Made like $1000 in 2 days. I was high school rich!

Damn! Wish I had thought of that. I think I was a junior during that storm, we were out of school for like 3 or 4 weeks that winter...that was the life haha
