    Pro tip: Before welding, paint the entire main sections completely (you'll knock off whatever coating when it's time to weld. Paint the legs connecting to the frame and main tube, but mask off the ends (less coating removal time). Don't sweat the plates and gussets, hit them after welding and clean up, just block overspray from the body. Don't forget to get inside the frame opposite the frame plates.
    This is what @beertimecontinuum recommended to myself when we put mine on. It would be a nightmare to paint them completely after being on the truck.

    Thanks for the tip I planned on mocking/tacking up everything where I want it, then welding it all together, painting or hurculining (I’ve had good success with this stuff) everything but the plates... then welding to the frame
