Thanks for the info and the link. I figured there would be a website but thought someone here would know things better. We won’t be camping there, so I’m just looking to be able to drive on the beach and enjoy the perks of not carrying all our crap haha. I’ll probably give someone a call at the offices down there to make sure I’m clear on it all. The website also shows tire pressure so that helps. I guess I’ll have to find a portable compressor now!

You can just grab a slime compressor at walmart. Airs up my tires fast enough.

    I hate this shit.

My argument to my lawyer was that if "homie" says his name was forged on the original lease, then how does he have any claim to the property. Apparently as long as he receives mail there, he is protected. That's some bullshit.

Philly just passed within the last year or so, some new squatter laws. The city was having issues with people taking up residence in abandoned houses, getting mail sent there, or a utility bill in their name at the property, and the owner of the property having to evict them. This could be a 6 month or more process. The new law philly passed doesn't allow this to happen to building owners. It's called some kind of squatter law. It allows owners to remove people without going thru the eviction process. It takes 30-ish days.

In my opinion that's STILL BULLSHIT. As soon as its found out that there is squatters, owners should be able to call the police or sheriff and have them removed immediately.

I can't "like" your post, as this whole situation just fucking blows.
I'm having a really hard time understanding that person stance on supposedly for signature. How the fuck does he thinks that gives him a right to occupy premises without paying for it :notsure::boom:
Sorry to hear about your ordeal, really hope it'll get resolved soon.

I have similar thoughts about it as well.
Seems really easy for courts to manage your finances by letting freeloaders to dwell on your property.
In NYC it's also hard to get rid of freeloaders. It also takes months, court visits, etc.
There is something called Section 8 , where state pays landlord portion of the rent for someone who has a hard time making it (essentially), but not everyone qualifies for that.

It's not just the city. We have a friend who couldn't get her physically abusive 'boyfriend' out of HER OWN HOUSE IN HER NAME for almost a year. Naturally he stole everyhing not bolted down and trashed the rest.

    This.
