(@JimSnell) I have found this useful. You can get from ranger stations in the forest you are in or maybe order online. I use the shit out of these, and they are pretty accurate. I always check either OSX or another app for closures 1st tho, cause... paper..

    That Takhlakh Lake campsite has a phenomenal view of mt Adams but holy crap are the mosquitos bad!

    I have family that live between spirit lake and priest river, I go up there any long weekend that I can.

    That being said, I only go so I can see my family. It is indeed a horrible place. Never have fun up there.

    Nastily lil town on the plain. Horrible winds and ice and snow in winter. Cold as f.
    Notwithstanding it’s near grand targhee, Jackson hole, and about a million other awesome places during summer, the winters SUCK!
