Black on Quicksand gives it great contrast. The little hint of red in the blacks is a nice touch I like, similar to DSLR cameras.

    Also... deep deep down...
I do not want my truck to look like a base model.

You're living in my head, I'm thinking the exact same thing.

We'll see how long it stays plain.

I just noticed that both sides seem to be right hand facing flags. Anyone else get one of these? Flag on the left side should be facing the opposite way.

    > According to the Department of Defense, “The regulation states that when authorized for application to the proper uniform the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that ‘the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward. The appropriate replica for the right shoulder sleeve is identified as the ‘reverse side flag.’”

    https://thepointsguy.com/news/planes-display-american-flag-backwards/

“Federal regulations state that when a flag is on a vehicle, the star field must be positioned toward the front of the vessel, so that it’s as if the flag is flying along the side of it. The same goes for military uniforms and government cars. The flag faces the observer’s right and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the person in uniform, car or airplane moves forward.”

I texted them to point out that they must have sent me two of the same side and at first they they responded “Oh well, that that it was is how it is displayed on the website.” And that “ This particular decal was designed based on a request from a disabled veteran. We went back and forth with him with both flag orientation. He finally decided on this configuration. It was a large order of over 200 set for all his army veteran friends.”

He went on to say that he wouldn’t refund me for shipping if I sent them back. But when I went back and checked on their site they have a left and right side displayed properly. I knew I wasn’t crazy. Once I pointed that out, they agreed to send me two more of the opposite side of free so no harm no foul.

If you order these, keep an eye on that.

I have the graphics on my bed sides and hood of my TRD Pro. Is is ok to wax over those graphics? They are way thicker than a typical decal. I dont want to f’ them up and be screwed.
