Passed through the Bronx on Thursday

 

Dude I was just down there in May. It’s an awesome time. Gator boys fan boy ride was pretty touristy but cool. If you’re into fishing, get yourself a peacock bass guide. You won’t regret it. Let me know if you want more details on that. The dude I went with was badass but pricey.

 

Probably won't be doing any fishing down there. The other couple we're going with wouldn't be up for that. We're staying right on the beach. We'll most likely be hanging by the beach/pool most of the time and wondering around a bit. Might have to go back another time without them for the fishing

 

Leaving Thursday for a camping trip wayyyyyy up north, Nova Scotia, Halifax. Now that's North

 

I'm super jelly. That's my next trip either that or very deep Ontario for fishing

 

I'll be happy just to get the long weekend. Especially since I go on-call a week from today....

In-laws have a beach house in Duxbury I'll be hanging out at on the 3rd. My friend is having his annual cookout on the 4th. Last year his grill caught fire and nearly went blooey, so I'm interested to see what this year brings. His sister-in-law burned all the hair off her arm stopping the fire. My friend panicked and dialed 911. I watched from afar. It ended up being fantastic entertainment.

 

Did 2 in Bangor, now I’ll couch tour or hit bluegrass festivals.

I’ll probably hit the lots for SPAC tomorrow. I want to hit the New-grass in North Adams this fall.

 

I gotta work Saturday because of holiday. The only bummer of my new job ( so far) .

As far as latitude goes, I think I'll be further north but still in the US. Heading to Plattsburgh, NY.

 

What’s up in P’burgh? Are you going to make it into the Adks? The high peaks are a zoo, they’re restricting parking as a first measure to control trail erosion/overuse. Luckily my favorite parts of the park have the least people!

 

I remember tagging along up there with a buddy when I was in college in Burlington VT. Was shocked how cheap the beer was.

As in what college I was at? Middlebury is more my older siblings level I went to St. Mikes before transferring to Siena in Albany Soph year.


If you meant where we were going, I have no idea, some concert the guy wanted to go to and I had nothing going that weekend. Ended up at SUNY Plattsburgh for the night.

 

I was camping at Sebago lake Saturday-Monday morning... the rainwas ok, but the thunderstorms were BRUTAL.. back to work today working OT.. apparently our perimeter fence took a lightning strike that day too.. fun times.. also had toe reset every clock in my house.
