Be there as well. First fireworks for us in 10 years. One of our furry children did not like them at all, so we caved in and stayed home with him. Our current one could care less.

Avoid Priority like the plague! My friend's father had his done there. I believe it was three months before it was done. And as an awesome bookend to the whole ordeal they forgot to put the seatbelts back in and the A/C didn't work. I want to say there were a few more problems, but can't recall.

Take a ball peen hammer and whack the side of your frame in various places. That’s the real test. Don’t need to worry about damaging it because a healthy frame will withstand a hit with no ill effect.

While I have you here, when you reinforced your lcas, did you add extra steel to the bottom as well? Like a built in skid?

Now in hindsight, the lower ball joint gussets will probably rip the boots off cv shafts

I like that idea of the gussets near the ball joint. Stealing that idea.

It should really have been on the non-steering stop side. Dont get me wrong, i think they fit, just not that tall - maybe they need notched.

700# on the 4th notch. At the 4th notch that is typically about the same pre-load that most people go with their fox's, kings, etc.

I've been doing a lot more research and diving into coilover set ups (which essentially any mcpherson strut is technically a coilover, so that includes 6112s) so I am looking at going a whole different route. That will get me what I want out of the suspension and make it work a whole lot better than what is the norm for our trucks. It is not something that is off the shelf. If it ends up happening though I will document it.

I bought a 2010 reg cab and had the frame inspected. Sure enough they are replacing it. Told
Me about a month for the frame to come in. I’m #13 in line. No big deal. But they did tell me that next year is the cut off for the frame recall.
