Looking to add a jump pack to my recovery gear.

What jump pack are you using? Why did choose it over another?

I've had two different Gooloo jump packs. I love them both. I've started my truck, and other people's vehicles, multiple times with my original 10,000mah 400amp pack, but have since upgraded to a 18,000mah pack with 800 amps. I gave them out at Christmas to my family, too.

I've also used them to start dirtbikes, atvs, etc. And of course they work AWESOME to keep your phone and whatever else charged while you are out camping. We use them all the time.

I don't have a NoCo jump pack... but I do love their products. I would absolutely get the NoCo if you don't mind the price. Otherwise, buy multiple GooLoos and put them in every vehicle you own!! :D

Hard to argue against this one at that price. Seems to be at the top in terms of amps and ah...

Another vote for the GooLoo. I've forgotten about it for about four months in my truck, only to find it down only one "dot" on the charge indicator.
Aside from a completely dead BMW, it has started every other vehicle I've used it on within a minute. The BMW had the battery in the back of the car and the jump connections in the front, took about ten minutes to bring to life, but it finally started.

    Excellent little battery pack.

I've got the NoCo GB40... it paid for itself the first time I used it to jump my MIL's Armada in a hospital parking garage.. She was parked in an awkward spot with no real easy way to get my truck next to her truck to jump it... atleast not without a 25' jumper cable (do they even sell those?)... highly recommend.

Duracell from Target. I’ve had it for years and even used it a few times, including -20 for some work vans.

    500 watts, 900 amps

Not to be the snob but some things I go name brand unless people I know or trust recommend it.

Good to know several have luck with that GooLoo one though.

I held a noco genius 500. The thing was rad. You could jump your truck and charge your stuff everyday for a year (not really but maybe who knows) I was all about it and then the guy said “2,500 dollars good sir” bananas.

So I just have a regular sized jump pack for regular sized things. It charges in my truck, I’ve jumped others 5 times at least, and it’s come in handy countless times when needed to charge things on adventure or in the house (go figure. But my gf steals all my phone cords)

I have a Rugged Geek 1000, jumped a 350 Chevy with it and it did fine plus it holds a charge for a long time.
