It is likely that my two upper idler bearings may be on the fritz then as those are the only two left in the equation since ive done the lower beside the crank, the smooth idler and the tensioner has a brand new pulley with new bearings in it as well.

 

I've got all the bearings on hand. Just in case.

I woke up at 4am to do pulled pork over fire for over 20 relatives and friends on sat. Was glorious!

 

Question- when leaving it in 4th, flooring it drops to 2nd and redlines. Why does it bounce off the rev limiter 6 or 7 times instead of up shifting immediately?

 

It sort of sounds like a tuning thing honestly.

 

I was thinking that. So rarely I have an opportunity to floor it. I'll ask our tuning specialist.

Well, the audio build re-begins now. This is my DVC Memphis Mojo M6 mini 8" 900 watt sub. I took some side by side shots to show what this bunker buster looks like in comparison to a Rockford Fosgate 200 watt P1S4 8" SVC I used to run in the truck. I decided to name this thing "The Ex Wife."

It's going straight on the passenger side rear wall of the cab.

Hahaha. I have another sub too and they are both getting axed in favor of this Memphis sub. 900 watts of pure cab destroying power is more than I'll want. Lol.
