What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Do you have a link for the locking cap? Illinois gas tax went up to 38 cents today so I am thinking about getting one.

Did you get your Sport hood from the dealership or from the TW "The Hood Swappin' N Tradin' Thread" forum?

 

Found mine on the 3rd gen for sale marketplace

 

After wasting one Nitto G2 in Big Bend.....some Fix Flat got me to Alpine, Texas.....Oasis Tire company had zero Nitto’s but did have a 10 ply 285/70r17 Falken Wild Peak AT3.
Drove 8 hrs home on that.
Ended up getting rid of my Nitto’s.
Interesting, Falken looked wider. Measured across the top tread on both Nitto and Falken.
Falken was 2.2 centimeters(about 3/4”) wider.
Maybe I’m dreaming but was expecting the 10 ply Falken would be slightly rougher on bumps etc......they seem to be smoother??. Inflated to 40 psi. Weird.

 

I purchased one awhile back, and the “Check Engine” light came on the following day after driving it for only a few miles.

 

Awesome find man! Sport hood are hard to come by

 

The scoop is just about all the Sport has going for it over the OR, no wonder people are loathe to get rid of it. If they didn't love the skewp they'd have an offroad.

(I'm still looking for one though)

 

With the -12 wheel offset will definitely have rubbing issue with stock height suspension and will require removal of the front mudflaps

 

What year are those takeoffs off of

 

2018, owner lifted his PRO. I put some new decals on so they look a little different.

had the KO2's flipped around so the black is facing out. Looks much better in my opinion and just goes along with the look of my truck.
