Tomorrow is July 1st, only a few days before the 4th of July holiday. Wouldn't it be nice to see the second drop happening tomorrow? I missed the first drop by leaving the computer for 30 min. Missed the 1.5 drop by leaving the house at night for a car wash.

I'm not missing the 2nd drop. Exactly the same statement I said about the first two drop. lol!

Does anyone experience once in a blue moon (mmm, beer) that the puddle lights do not turn on with the proximity feature and/or unlocking with your keyfob?

I would say it works 99% times, no problem. When out of nowhere it doesn't turn on, it will usually work as soon as I put my hand on the driver door handle and it auto unlocks, or at worst I open the driver door and everything turns on and works from there with no problem.

Even rarer to happen, when they just don't turn on with my keyfob when I press the unlock button, sometimes it fixes itself after I press the unlock/lock button two or three times. Again, at worst I open the door and again everything works like there never was an issue haha.

It is really a minor inconvenience and by no means am I unhappy. Very much the opposite. Let me state emphatically; I LOVE MY PUDDLE LIGHTS! My truck is my daily driver and whenever I get to see them at night or show them off it makes me smile :)

Again it works 99% of the time, just that weird "hiccup" that will happen once every week or two. I am just curious if anyone else has this happen as nonchalantly at it does, but I would assume this is mostly considered not an issue and is normal. Sorry for the long post!

Mine is delayed sometimes, for sure. My smart door lock has been delayed too, now that u mention it. I can take two steps away and the truck will lock. I thought it was the heat.

I have so many of Meso's stickers, I just put them in easter egg places all over the truck.
Some day, a mechanic will stumble upon them.

My smart door lock has been a bit delayed lately too. I chalked it up to the truck being super dirty. It just started this past week though after a bunch of rain, so I don't know that it has anything to do with the puddle lights as I haven't had any issues with them turning on.

Also, my truck would not lock the other day. No matter how hard I pushed or how close I was.

I have been having issues with the range on my key. I have to be within almost 5 feet of the truck just lock or unlock it and sometimes there is a delay from when I hit the button to it locking/unlocking as well.

That's odd, I do not know how the puddle lights would affect the key fob range. The T harness in the A-pillar is just a pass though patch cable(all stock wires connect back like OEM). Then it's 2 extension wires that route directly up to each light in the mirror (totally isolated from any surrounding wires or circuits).
My range was getting bad, but it ended up being my fob battery(haven't changed since new). But I'll be sure to keep tabs on this.
