How are they fishing underwater?

 

I hate you. Pass times I’ve went fishing didn’t get nothing.

 

When I fish I only catch hangovers.

 

There's places where fresh and salt water are separated in the same body of water. So there's your answer

I agree with this and it's only because I've had a corporate gig now for the last several years, whereas before I worked freelance. In freelance/contract type work, you only get work if you have a reputation for doing a good job..so those that don't have what it takes usually give up pretty quick, never to be seen or heard from again. But in the corporate world, goddamn there are some lazy SOB's that punch in and punch out and never really do anything, but get away with making it look like they do. It's like an art form in and of itself, if only it weren't so frustrating to the people that have to work harder to make up for it lol.

I think @BartMaster1234 has experience he can use with the horn business and even fixing friend's cars, especially since he's still in school. That kind of stuff still looks good to employers when a young person is applying - there are so many college kids out there that don't work at all until after they graduate and then try to rely on connections and their degree to speak for them. In some cases that probably works well, too..but those people don't tend to have a good work ethic.

 

Looks like I've got everything lined up in tools and parts to change tie rod ends on the 4th. Then get Firestone to align it on the 5th.

 

What all are you using to change them out? Going to be doing mine pretty soon, wasn't sure if I'd need anything more than my basic tools and a pitman puller.

I definitely get skunked too. Not too often just cause I kinda know the times of day and times of year and what baits to use for those times. You ever make it to Utah in late May through June, I'll put you on some big cats. It spoils you though. They get so big and fight hard, so they're a BLAST to catch. And then to go back to little planter trout? No thanks. I only fish for the fun of the catch. Not a big fish eater but my pops smoked some kokanee salmon he caught and that is sooooo good.
I just really like catching big fish is all

 

Yeah you'll be fine. Especially being able to work with 3 different languages, even just knowing a second language is a big door opener today. Although it would be better if it were Chinese or maybe Russian lol

Unfortunately it's only basic basic understanding. I can barely speak Spanish, but I can grasp the language. Filipino I can understand but not speak it.

 

My grandfather would take me to a local pond in MO as a kid and throw a handful of cat food and/or bread crumbs into the water, and the catfish would go nuts. Was like shooting fish in a barrel, I would always catch something. But it was a small pond and I think his friend that owned the land kept it full of fish.

I never caught anything as big as that monster in your last photo though, lol. I remember catching a ~5 or 6lb one when I was 7 yrs old and it nearly pulled me into the pond

It's competitive out here, especially in my field. Everyone in the world wants to come work in the Silicon Valley, and it's harder as a resident to get into the job market because of the cheaper labor resulting from H1B visa workers.

 

Yeah a five or 6 lb catfish could definitely rip the pole out of a 7 yrs old grasp. Such a strong fish, king of the water and he fears nothing. I love em
