Hi from Calgary Alberta, Canada. I bought my 09 tacoma used, 6 months ago (16km or 10,000mi). It came loaded and has the towing package and came with a trifold tonneau cover. So far it's been a great truck. Looking forward to using TW to get nfo on towing and other misc items to add on.

Welcome. Why no color match grill?

When I bought the truck the used truck manager at the dealership had a stone hit the grill while he was driving it. One of the plastic center supports had a large chunk broken off of it so they replaced it with an unpainted black grill and gave me the damaged one as well. I just recently recieved a free grey coloured grill from a relative which I'll use to mount the white section of the original grill. The black one I'm going to save an see if I can get it chromed.

Thanks for the welcome. I love the color of your truck, sure wish I had the option of choosing a color when I bought mine. It would have been a dark one. Such are the pitfalls of buying used though.

Good luck getting it chromed. I don't think so. Not worth it, You can buy them pretty cheap without the emblem, you already have that part.

I think you might want to do a web search. Autopro has them real cheap. 50 buck range. Don't quote me it's been awhile since I looked at them. I was going to buy a spare but my stainless grill insert worked out just fine.

Thanks for the greeting. I saw the mods listed for your ride sounds nice. Hope you didn't get any damage from all the hail we've had this year. I live in the far south and we've had three good hail storms in the last month or so. No damage though.
