Yes...which is why the rebound is harder on that side.

I need to this whether it fixes the problem or not. I did notice that my sway bar is super tight to the bottom of the coil. Look like a mark on the bar. Gonna have to watch that. Not sure if that could cause noise. Its already pushed forward.

I actually cut the end of the bolt attached from the bar to the link that was scraping on the bottom of the coil about 3/16”

Supposedly it accounts for the weight of the battery on the driver side

That bolt is slightly scraping on my driver's side coil. I found the problem (I didn't do the install). Sway was installed uneven. I can stick my hand in the gap on the passenger side. I'm assuming I can just loosen it and slide it over?? This is one of the reasons I didn't do install. Man... I also have a lot of trimming to do...and a cmc

I gained a little bit of gap. about an 1/8" gap. Can you loosen the link and slightly rotate toward the wheel? Already have the Dremel out. Thanks. It's gonna take awhile to do a cmc with a Dremel. :gossip:. Ha Ha.

I took the link off so I could hold it detached...made sure the cut was very straight so I could get the nut back on. Take yer time

Installed these a while back. Great customer service from Brian and Karl.
2.5 quad tubes and 2.125x3 bumps.

The forth tube is towards the frame, but not in a position that could make contact.

Something I liked about the bump cans is they are machined just like King cans but also have the clamp. Much easier to get in and out. B4B39A2B-8474-4017-85F6-6A4A6333E26A.jpg9B9573E3-D7EC-494A-8668-0DB40337D059.jpg

Custom valving and bypass layout? Or you just order the standard layout and they still fit that well?

Off the shelf. 12/15. Lucked out on layout. Had Brian take a top down photo beforehand.

After running the ADS shocks for about 300 miles, I have noticed that while daily driving, when I go over a pot hole or a crack in the road it is pretty harsh, going over bumps is plush. Off road these shocks are great, no problems or issues. Is this harshness due to the digressive valving on rebound with these shocks? Do other people notice the same thing? I don't mind it, just looking to see if others feel the same thing with these shocks and/or if this is normal.

Yes, agree that potholes and cracks feel a bit harsh. They should soften up considerably though after 1000 miles.

I’m curious to know as well about the valving because progressive compression and the digressive rebound of these shocks valving is unique

    Whole lotta stuff
Deep potholes will feel harsh because stock IFS is about 8-9" inches of wheel travel being generous. Quality coilover can only do so much within it's 6" or so of stroke. It won't transform your truck into LT geometry. That said, you can do a lot with tuning and changing up valving of the piston for your driving conditions. Just need to have a conversation with a rebuilder.

Are you saying the stock shock has more stroke travel? Also what is IFS?

The stock shocks did absorb the potholes and cracks better as far as felt harshness. Why is that?
