Yep. Not positive that it is even open. A guy said he drove it on 6/17/19 and someone else said the gate was still closed on 6/23/19. Call the Mountaintop Ranger District to check if planning to go. I think 1.5 hrs up and back plus time to hike to the top and take pics, eat etc.

Would a lifted Taco with only sliders make it through this?

Looks like next weekend I'm going to be helping do some brake lines on a friend's truck and probably do a couple things I've been needing to knock out on mine before the MJT run the following weekend. There's going to be some guys going to Gorman to do the trails out there on the 13th-14th while some of us do MJT...the Gorman trails are easier and good for the high speed stuff if you wanted to come and check it out.

I'm going to be camping in Gorman the night of the 13th after the MJT run that a few of us are doing

You're rear locked right? You would be fine I think. Definitely some spots where you'll want to be spotted through but that's going to be true for most of us.

That's basically what I have... and I'm going to give it a shot. From the trailsoffroad video of the trail looks like it should be fine. They say in that video a stock 4x4 with clearance can do it, with some armor recommended.

I've been on that trail a few times with guys that were open diff 4x4s and they all did well, one maybe two obstacles you might need a tug on but it won't be bad

With the weather this past year I don't really know what to expect lol, might be harder or it might be easier.

Lockwood Creek (the first trail we do before MJT) has a gatekeeper obstacle on it that's a good indication of what the rest of the trail's hard parts are like. You'll know pretty much right away if it'll be doable or not, but I don't see why anyone wouldn't be able to. We've got straps if needed

I will be camping out in Gorman on Friday 7/12 and maybe Saturday 7/13 after the Gorman Noob Fest. We will probably hit Pronghorn to add some excitement.

You would be the third S/C truck in the group if you go.

    @eon_blue is a S/C 1st Gen
    I have a S/C T/X Baja

I did Miller Jeep trail the first time on the stock Baja Suspension + Sliders

Should be locked if he has a Baja Package

I may go, just depends there is a lot of family stuff going on right now (parties, nothing bad!)
We can have four superchargers then!
I’m on stock leaf springs and I have an 07 LSD rear diff. But 34” tires so I should be good I think.

We had 3 supercharged trucks last weekend on the Big Bear run, me and @ItsRichieRich and a 5th gen T4R but I don't remember his username

On the 4runners the 4.0 supercharger mounts backwards lol (compared to the Tacoma)

@bprout set up our track through Rattlesnake Canyon and Heartbreak ridge, then some others I forget about. Decent weather, relatively low traffic, a few scuffs and such, but good times all around.

Awesome, that would be great if you could let us know how it is right now. Have you run it before?
