Oh wow. Didn’t know that. Crazy that they would make it to this side of Greenville when the mountains are such a safer home for them.

    Thanks for the heads up!

haha, that map is from 2017, and is the most recent I could find. I would bet the purple areas have expanded over the last few years.

That's the toyota way man... especially for your year truck, it's pretty sought after in the used truck market. I wonder how soon they will try to convince me to trade... i've thought of the scenerios... it would have to be the same payment and same color and have 4wd this time... all i care about.. the wishful thinking me would hope it was a 4x4 OR cement gray model... i really like my truck though even with it being 2wd.

A bear is possible. They make it all the way to the Laurens/Newberry area. Though, they may have originally come down from the area north of Spartanburg.
I was told by a DNR ranger there may be a breeding population in the forests around here now.

Couldn't get any good tracks (it is weed-ish grass on the other side) but there was some brush that was knocked a fair amount back!

    Really!?

One of my side hobbies/interests is looking into mountain lions/cougars in the Smokies & Blue Ridge area.
    Tell me about it.

Well a few years back DNR actually released I think a pair of female mountain lions to help with the deer population and those to somehow I turned into many so and night you will hear their particular call and it sounds like they're hacking up a hairball LOL
