My house was built in 1946 and have the old cloth insulated ungrounded wire. Same thing where they used 3 prong outlets with no ground. I have replaced most of my outlets with 3 prong GFCI outlets which are an acceptable way to get 3 prong with no ground. The wiring itself is actually in really good condition from what I have seen but it’s still on my list of things to completely redo if I end up staying here.

Local Home related question, where could I buy shower door seals? Need the bottom and side ones for a frameless door.
Bottom is torn, side is looking gnarly in spots and cracked. And third side, figure if I’m doing two might as well go with all 3.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Wow. So not only did they scab on basement lights to the DW/Disposal home run, they also scabbed on outdoor outlets via 2 other junction boxes. One of the wire runs for an outdoor socket had a short in the UF-B wire (looks like some critter had been chewing). I killed that branch of that circuit, and he reversed all his initial fixes. Things work now, but I'm calling another company for an inspection and remediation. We both saw too many questionable things under the house in terms of wiring nonsense.

I don’t but they’ve been on my list of things I want. I was kinda waiting to see if anything happened with the Hearing Protection Act but I don’t think it’s ever going to pass.

I pretty much only go to Juggernaut for any of my new gun needs and I know they’re a class 3 dealer.

I bought mine while I was in WV but a lot of the same rules apply regardless. I can't recommend a local dealer but @nvnv addressed that. Definitely find a 2A friendly attorney and have a trust done where you name who gets the can if something happens to you. There's a ton of information that's available, and local dealers should be able to point you in the right direction. The only pain in the ass is the wait time through ATF once you get the ball rolling.

Have heard good things, I need to stop by there.

I have been reading and reading and still feel like I know very little, I'll be going somewhere next week to start the process and I'm sure ill learn alot from wherever I go.

Just want a can for the little 22 I just bought for now although I have a feeling I may order some for other guns later.. it's fun with subsonics, but would be 5x more fun with a can and subs.

Yeah, it's an information overload for sure. My can is for my .22 as well. I have the Silencerco Spectre II, and no complaints. Funny but with the M&P 22 pistol it was actually louder with the subsonics. I haven't had a chance to shoot the subsonics through my Savage with the can yet but I've heard you can basically hear a mouse pissing on a cotton ball with a rifle so I'm anxious to give them a try.

I do not, however the guys over at Scorpius are awesome. A few friends have gone through them, word is the alphabet boys are taking a long time to process forms (12-14 months).
Whisper pickles are a blast and worth imo.

I know there's a guy in Fallon that does. He's got a good reputation, but I haven't dealt with him.

Just stick with getting the Carbon fiber hood, gotta get to that 50/50 weight distribution.
