always got that on hand. and they are really good.

I think I'd go red 22... as I have tables and space. the stainless top one is a nice backup option though, but I will own a red one too soon....

Hmm. I’ll have to take measurements and decide then. I don’t have a lot of table space in the back, so that extra top would be beneficial for sure. If I can get it for $80 I may do that over the red.

Nope it's like something else that's really expensive and doesn't have WiFi.

    Wasn't even a prime.

you know who carries them now? HEB

Check the HEB plus in Hutto. Wagyu briskets, I think about $6.99/lb

Worst case, it they are out, ask the butcher and he can order it for you @Misplaced Nebraskan

I usually try and just call or text if they have a number listed. The dude who didn’t respond on the red was on offerup so no email there.

I added some fire bricks and put a broken pizza stone in my smoker to try and even out the heat distribution...One side would get real hot while the other side was ok. So I hope this helps...

I was in Simi Valley / SF valley 2 weeks ago and we bought a 22 kettle so I can show my Cali friends how to make TX brisket.
We found a 22 for $40. I lowballed for $30 but seller wouldnt bite. So we paid $40

There’s some in that area, but I’m too far away. Id spend as much in gas and the used grill as it would to just buy a new one haha.

I'm going to nudge towards a 22" over an 18", as well. The difference in footprint is negligible, but the cooking area increase is noticeable. You won't 'hate' the 18", but you'll eventually probably want to add a 22" (or 26") to it at some point. If keeping just one, you'll want the 22". If in no hurry, just keep your eyes peeled. I bet the market takes a turn towards to buyer shortly after the 4th ;).

Same here. Grabbed a Prime yesterday at least, but was hoping for a Wagyu.
