I've set a personal cap of a 2-mod waitlist possession maximum. Best way to keep the spending reasonable ....or at least spread it out a little!

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
With some items (cough... Meso... cough...) you gotta' get 'em when you can find 'em. Sometimes there's a sale you can't pass up, or you find a good deal with someone selling used.

    Okay, back to .

I just went out and looked. No such animal. You might have some after-market thingy there, like maybe for some other dash cam.

I can attest to that. Rock sliders were way down on the list of things for the truck. But when I saw the exact set I wanted being sold for great price, I had to jump on em. A few hours of driving and a couple coats of paint and I have a great set of sliders ready for install.

Got the estimate today. 2698.47, of which 786.68 is for the headlight.

I’ve got a discarded Mod pile, mods that didn’t work, most of them are $10-$20 but they’re piling up. And too cheap to sell. I’ll use them as stocking stuffers this Christmas.

I've got a few of those, too.

At work, we've got a table where people can put small items, in usable condition, that they no longer want and anyone can just take what they think they can make use of. If it's still there after a few days, the original owner either takes it home or tosses it. I've put some things there that I thought I'd have to toss, but they disappeared almost immediately. Wish we could do the same here.

Dafuq is right! The sad thing is that they will get somebody with that "package" and that person will join TW and realize they got bamboozled.

Installed the Bedrug tailgate cover. Very easy. I like it !E7951752-B0CC-4FA6-84F3-41BACA563913.jpg 62384F6F-8E40-40D7-8298-C766AB9AE18E.jpg 1C27399A-6034-43D5-AE72-F300EC30E7A9.jpg

We did a $100 fun money budget. Extra $ goes to the truck and house. Truck will be paid off this year and another 5 on the house. Besides, this month is landscaping curbs and new fencing.

The house is a much more reasonable “actual investment” to mod. It’s still moding if it’s a house right?

Lets get back on the mods, folks. Lots of people from many different walks of life on here and I bet we all disagree on a bunch of shit. The thing we ALL agree on is modding our trucks :D:D

I've got a big mod list I'm hoping to make a dent in over the long holiday weekend. The mod pile is starting to look more like a mod mountain. :anonymous:
    • Sound deadening/insulation/carpet for the rear panel in preparation for a sweet rear seat molle rack
    • Finishing my onboard air install with an ARB compressor/tank and bracket from Mountain Off Road
    • Powertray/sPod install and wiring to clean up my under-hood situation and get prepared to run more power to the bed
    • Rear diff breather mod
    • MESO puddle pods
    • etc etc etc
If I can cross two or three of those off the list before Monday in between beer and barbecue I'll be happy.:fingerscrossed:

Went 37 miles south on the Padre Island National Seashore 4 wheel drive beach. Had family fun and caught some fish.

Installed the fuse panel and mounting plate from @paranoid56 today. At $25 for the surface mount version, you really can’t go wrong. Still a couple more months to go before getting the lights and switches but everything else is installed or prepped.

Yesterday I derped the OR wheels. It’s only meh but the decals didn’t make it through the winter and with only 5k miles, I’ll wait for next spring for new wheels and tires.

Btw- stick to Plasti-dip, Rust-Oleum peel coat is horrible and their clear coat version is even worse!

Keep us posted if your dash lights up. Which locking cap did you go with?
