It was a random piece of powdercoated steel my dad found. The below pic I stole from @Gaunt596 , but I added the circles. Drilled holes in the plate to match up with the red threaded posts and bolted it down. Bent another piece of metal into a Z shape to bolt to the blue circled post then bolted the other end to the bottom of the plate. Super simple and hasn't budged.

Im never one of the chosen ones. :help:

But anyways, if anymore of these get produced, please keep me in mind.

I'm pretty sure Iggy moved on, and I'm thinking the rest of us probably should, too...

just put an air compressor over there instead!

Ok guys, got a few minutes to work on it today. I updated some of the mounting components. I think what I want to do is move the top tie down, right now it's across the long end and I want to move it to the short side (between the posts). Hopefully I can figure that this weekend. Here are pics of the progress.

Hey Iggy, will this hold a standard group 27 battery or is it optima specific?

For the 27 yes. If you look at the attached photo, there is slight cutout for one of the "cells" at the exact same spot there is a giant wire look in the tacos. If you use a square battery the loom doesn't let you mount a 27, it's almost like the optima was meant for it. A 34 will fit no problem of any brand.
