Welcome man, congrats on the new truck. Glad the wife gave yah the go ahead to purchase some bigger tires. I ended up getting BFG KO2s 265/70/17, you can fit them without a lift and the stance is a tiny bit taller and way more aggressive looking. In regards to wheels I went with T4R Pro Sema in satin black. Just an FYI, TW is not all ignorant, a lot of us will have useful answers for you so don't be afraid to ask if you have questions.

Honestly when I first got on Tacoma world, I was excited and made a similar post and someone shot it down. That is literally why I said that and I came across as a dick lol. Congrats on the new truck OP you will find everything you need on TW.

Newbie here too, and just got the 2019 SR5 in same color and same question that you have. I am interested in finding out what wheels and tires I can run without getting a lift. I understand that I may need a leveling kit, and I am fine with doing that. Thanks in advance

On the SR5, it is a big jump and it will look great. Don’t worry about lifting and get this size, anything bigger requires cutting.

I went to the dealership yesterday to get my inspection sticker they provide for us. While I was in the parts department, I spoke to the parts manager about the tires they can recommend without getting a lift. They told me that in their warehouse they already have the Nitto tires I wanted already mounted on TRD 17” wheels. They traded in my old wheels and tires and charged me a small upcharge to purchase the bigger wheels and tires. So this is how it turned out and you can ride with 265/70/17 tires without a lift or leveling.4248F900-D67D-4682-B87C-C27750F0DE29.jpg

Yes, but much cheaper than buying them from another place. I was quoted almost $2000 for wheels, tires, balancing, and mounting from three places around here. $800 was for the wheels and tires
