Alright fellas I'm 10,000 miles in and I can't do the spacer lift anymore. I'm looking to get Bilstein 5100s front and rear with OME coils up front. I'm wanting to run 285/75/16 falken wildpeaks on stock wheels with 1.25 inch spidertrax spacers. My question is which OME coils should I run to not have any issues? Also I currently have a 1.5 inch block in the rear. Should I change that out to an add a leaf? I would rather sit nose low than nose high.

Who is the best place to buy from?

Another thing.... Do I need this "taco lean spacer"?.... Sheesh.

    Thanks for all the help.

No advice on the springs, but if you haul gear, the add-a-leaf is a nice upgrade. On an empty truck, I’d probably keep the blocks in the back to maintain your present ride quality.

For me, the extra leaf was the best thing I’ve done to my suspension as I had terrible rear shock fade and was smacking the bump stops all the time before the adaleaf. I have a camper shell and haul quite a bit of gear in the back.

I was waiting for it. No offense intended but every damn lift thread has to mention headstrong off road, well fellas they ain't the only one out there. They do know there stuff however I never got a call back on the times I tried to get through.
5100s in stock coils is fine, I have seen two sets of OME start to settle more than they should, that's why I run factory coils and one inch block in the rear. Mine rides and drives great.

I have stock coils up front, set for 1.5” lift on 5100’s and have the same experience. No sagging, just a good ride.

Installed OME 887 springs on 5100s with an icon AAL on Friday. This is the result. And yes you need a lean spacer 3CD1E1F8-13F9-4EE7-BEEC-5273551B2035.jpg

265s and I did the spacer for the lean and ECGS clamshell bushing as preventive maintenance. Rides sweet!IMG_20190502_071109566_HDR.jpg

Running 5100's and 888's up front with the spacer for lean. 5160's in the rear and dakar's. she's done me good so far. It's settled a little bit for sure but that's expected.

I ran bilstein 5100's on stock coils all around with a block on my last truck (19 Sport) hated it, super rough, not as bad as a spacer type ride but compared to the last trucks (15 and 11) I had lifted with the Toytec Ultimate kit (coilovers, AAL) not as nice either, but keep in mind stock coils on the max setting, wouldnt recommend it.
From what I've read the 5100's with OME coils are a nice setup especially if youre sticking mostly to the road. I think 886 or 887s are what everyone goes with depending on if you want to add armor up front (886 without / 887 with). You will need the Taco lean top plate / spacer unless you are going to a fully adjustable type coilover setup.

How much lift were you running?

My truck has no top plate and does not lean.

Just at 3''. I bet you're truck has lean you're just not noticing it, if you are running this setup without a spacer.

Installed TAC-AL - Toytec Rear Add-a-Leafs on the back. Installed Eibach PRO-TRUCK SPORT SHOCK (Ride Height Adjustable) on the front. Eibach PRO-TRUCK SPORT SHOCK on the rear. I also had to install the Eibach PRO-ALIGNMENT Toyota Adjustable Front Upper Control Arm Kit. By using the same kind of shocks front and rear I got matching piston rates. The new upper control arms allowed me to correct the camber and Casper on the front. Used the second ring from the bottom on the Front shocks. Tires are Cooper Discoverer AT3 275x70xr17. My next step is to install a set of Firestone air bags on the rear for when I haul my travel trailer. PS also have located a 41 gallon gasoline aux tank for the bed for under a grand. I will now have a range of 496 miles when hauling at 8 miles to the gallon. Also aux fan driven transmission cooler.

I’m only at 1.5” of lift. I think the lean appears when you go past that. My truck actually sits pretty darn level.

Think you're right, its always there, but more noticeable the higher you go. All my Taco's have had it and needed a spacer, but I've never been baller enough to run adjustable coilovers.
