Lowered my 2018 Sport. Like it a lot. I have noticed a popping in the front when I turn hard left or hard right. Has anyone else had this??? Lowered it using the SOS kit. Would love to bag it, not crazy low but bagged.

Even better: I can drop it off at a nearby shop, work until my lunch break, and pick up a lowered truck. :p

Anyone have an idea of what it would cost to bag a 3rd gen?

Undecided on it. I'm tall, and it's a stark contrast to stock.

Fortunately it can always be removed if I do decide against it.

I like it...that's the way the truck should look if its a street truck. I'm 6'1+ and I'm tired of dragging myself into my truck. I was too tall to use side steps but too short to just lean in. Are you having any 'symptoms' with the drop? Bottoming out, rough ride, etc? Thanks for the pics.

Edit....did the shop say anything about the install....cost?

The only symptom I have is that the dust shields are rubbing, so I'll have to tweak them a bit more than they already did when doing the install.

Spoke to the guy who did the install at the shop. No issues in doing so. He just said when they did the alignment the thrust angle changed slightly but was still in spec.

$488 for install + 4-wheel alignment. They took all day to do it, but I was working away, so I didn't notice any lunch breaks, smoke breaks, etc. they may have taken.

That's good to hear. All day? That's curious....seems like guys are doing it on their own in 4 hours or so. So I'm wondering if it needs an alignment at all if everything was still in specs. I've got a shop who's done work for me on another truck and it took them 8 hours to lower my Silverado which means it would have taken me about 6 days and all 10 knuckles.

Not quite sure, but they quoted me $488 before they began, so they can take all the time they want--they make less per hour doing so!

That was the deal with me....I watched most of it. At the end of the day the owner pointed to a sign that said it you want to watch its $10 more per hour. We had a laugh because I'd been there most of the day peering through the window...lol. Well I think your truck looks great. Let us know if anything odd comes up.

One symptom I did notice when going to get lunch was the seats seem to jiggle a bit more over bumps, potholes, etc. The passenger seat is now audible when it jiggles.

How much better does the truck handle? I chose a GMC canyon over tacoma because of handling... but i really want a stick shift again. so thinking about switching to tacoma and lowering it.
