So thoughts on front Kong’s with #700 coils or ADS with #700 coils or just go 6112 with #700 and save some Cash for other mods?

I’m down south now and am itching to hit the beach but have not found the time here on Rodanthe!

Ill be taking my 19 Off Road down to Hatteras in a few weeks. I plan on driving the beach. Did you air down or just go 4X4?

 

You never asked about any of this work? So not sure how Im out of your price range?

 

The big question is how do you use the truck, how much off-roading do you do, lift wanted, ride characteristics do want. Answer those questions and the choice will be easier. With ADS or Kings the biggest benefit would be getting them from a company that revalves them and pre-tunes them for your set up. That will go a long way in how the CO feel. King and ADS are a different style of shock than the Billies so they feel a little different.

 

Depends how the beach is. If it’s soft air down. If it’s packed sand just take it easy and you will be fine.

 

I've been to Hatteras in a stock truck. You should definitely air down.

 

I’m down in Rodanthe where you need a $50 permit to drive on the beach, that I have, however can’t convince anyone to go along! WTF?

 

do you feel like you out drive them? If you are happy with overall ride, I’d get billy’s And save the money for more mods.

Looking for 2-2.5 in and clear my 33 st maxx and not a lot of preload with a nice soft ride especially for long distance trips and can handle anything off road. I currently sit at 23 front and 24 rear. But would like to lower front to 22-22.5 with a nicer ride. I don't wheel super hard but like to explore and get to where I'm going. I understand the digressive/progressive and linear capabilities. Mostly looking to upgrade the front finally as the truck is nearing completion for a while. Once my wife gets a runner I see all my money going to set that up for her hahaha. My rear is good to go with the B110 and HD dakars. Super happy with this setup and superbumps all around. Leaning ADS as everyone has kings but I got a line on a good price from wheelers. I don't need resi but I figure why not.
