    I’ve read it also makes it difficult to have really consistent shifts no matter how consistent the driver is. That thread has me thinking I want to get rid of it..

    I find that with this transmission. To have really smooth shifts, you have to train your clutch foot to go slow and smooth. If you try to use muscle memory and do it fast, the clutch plate will almost always be slower that your clutch foot. You can tell when pu have the cluth pedal all the way out hut the clutch still feels like it is slipping for a second or 2. But if you go slow, you feel more in sync with the clutch.
