Seriously get some axle shims, it sucks having to tear everything back out to install them later. Also forgo to exhaust bracket. It makes the tailpipe hang down really low. Just chop it, or pay for a shop to relocate the pipe for you.

Edit: And skip the diff drop. Their usefulness is negligible if any.

Corrects the angle of the driveshaft after youve lifted. Some get vibrations, some dont. Better safe than sorry to go ahead and install a set, they wont hurt anything. It really sucks pulling leafs multiple times. Ive only done it 4x in one year.

3 degrees is the normal amount by the way.

I have these. Be warned, they add another 3/8" or so of lift.

But with the lift you’ll need new wheels with a better offset and at least 33’s and armor, winch, lights, skottle, beard

So you added them after you started to have vibration issues?

Also I pulled the trigger on the cart above :kona:

    Its all in the pipeline!

I'm going to go with a 16in rim but I would appreciate input on offset and tire size. What other treads have you visited to get this info? or do you have it all in your head. :D

I want to thank everyone that has given me input so far!

There’s plenty of threads on tires/wheels out on TW. I recommend just doing the research and figuring out what’s best for your build.

Keep in mind, if your guna want to eventually upgrade to tundra brakes some 16inch wheels have enough space for the calipers.

Speaking from experience, do your research first and make sure you buy the rims that will do what you want and won't cause problems (rubbing, etc).

I agree with @eon_blue and @Blue92 about the diff drop. I have one, but don't believe it does much for CV angles.
I too experienced the whole fiasco with trying to remove the power steering rack bolt and finding that the front diff gets in the way. Not worth the money.

I did not do Axel shims and have not had a problem. I do see how they could be helpful.
The exhaust bracket was very necessary but took some figuring out on how to install at first.
I still have the diff drop in a box lol ---- would not recommend.

Diff drops are a waste of money and time IMO, I wouldn't bother. I installed mine and it made no noticeable difference in boot angles, and the spacers only accelerate the wear on your diff mount bushings over time.

in addition I forgot to buy the EYE bolt for the leaf springs.

I used a grade8 bolt but the fit was not as tight as i would have liked. Wish I had ordered this before I started my build.
