I read somewhere recently that they were just trying to restrict it to street legal vehicles only, so no ATVs and such...is that true or are they trying to shut the whole thing down?

The first article I read a few weeks ago was talking about basically phasing it out...no more night runs, limited access, less overage acreage, etc. But then I read somewhere else more recently they were just trying to make it less polluted and noisy but getting rid of the non-street legal trucks and vehicles.

Pismo isn't really on my list of places to go unless it's a group thing and I haven't been in awhile...just too many people and so much noise esp at night, thanks mostly to the loud ATVs and bikes and hundreds of RVs running compressors. But, nonetheless an OHV park getting shut down is never a good thing for those of us that enjoy the hobby. Signed the petition

My bedroom has a set of buckets and a console taking up most of the space. Contemplating just installing it without the seat trim for now. But I know that will trigger my CDO.

    :playball:

    Waiting is hard.

But then Ill have the old seats taking up the same space.

    :annoyed:

trouble at the indie Toyota mechanics today
i just wanted a safety check on my truck after some more controlled diagnosis resulted in some new gremlin (or gremlin not previously noticed)
wants me to pork over $75 and that would not come off the repair bill if something was found ... wot the fck am i wrong or am i right

told me to go have the wheels balanced again first at DT where i got them 7k miles ago.

Got ya. I let that slip up on me for this month. I hope to go some year. It is not that far from me. If you end up using a yellow cap, the trick to making it work so it seals tightly for pressure is to grind down and smooth out the breather nubs that are behind the rubber seal.

I'm going to make an attachment for the Taco here in a few days. The crazy thing is I picked up a few of the yellow caps at Pick and Pull a couple of years ago. I went back a few weeks ago and not a single car in the yard had a brake reservoir cap. It was like some regulation required them to all be removed. So I ordered a Taco cap online so I could make one.

I've got to hand it to Summit Racing for rush shipping another Series 51 D Slot Steel wheel to replace the bent one that Discount Tire found on Saturday. They made it good. That helped remedy most of the shake. I made a bad choice with the lug centric steel rims. I will be changing the tie rod ends this weekend. Though, I doubt that will make a difference. I learned my lesson on this one. Never again.

Interesting.I've never had balance issues with running hub centric wheels on my lug centric truck so I assume the other way would be fine as well
