A hitch mount is much better, IMO. A roof rack will hurt your mileage, be a pain to load/unload your bike, and it may whistle.

I just got a One Up hitch rack and it’s stellar!

I have been thinking. I will probably do the hitch. I can keep it from vehicle to vehicle. Plus, I don't really like the tailgate mat.

Angle of the top tube reminds me of my Cannondale synapse. Great for long rides not quite as aggressive as a racer and saves your lower back. Nice looking set up.

The bed mat is awesome. I think it’s much better than a rack.3B4AF8D3-1A38-4226-8AD7-BEAD8F205C39.jpg66663CDF-B7B7-48D1-8B6D-554CC164584C.jpg

Speaking of what's the market value on those older Wilson Devincis? I found one to flip but I was having a hard time pinning down a market value because there aren't many of them on the East Coast

There just aren't a lot of em in the US period.

I bought my 2012 used but in great shape for $1100 and we both felt like we were happy with the deal.

Of course, with a sample size of N=1, that puts the data findings squarely in the realm of "anecdotal" :D

Edit: KSL has a few. Looks like a range of 1200-1500 is the ask. Now what they would actually sell for is prob like 1000-1250.

Took me a minute to figure you were riding road and not MTB. I was like "How fast is this guy?" I get 4-6 on the uphill trails

And you very well may forget you have a bike up there and pull into a garage, drive through, etc.

hahaha yes road bike. I have a mtn bike but everything is pretty flat here so makes mtn biking kinda uninteresting.

Nothing gets me going like going down a road with my road bike and getting practically side swipped by a pos driver who cant be bothered to slow down or go around me.

only thing that gets me going now a days.
