You’re the kind of third genner we need. Eat a snickers and enjoy the forum.

Also calling someone a snowflake and bitching about sarcasm is the definition of irony. :hattip:

While I understand wanting to share your experience, there are already tons of these threads if you use the search function.

It was a serious question, despite the irony.

Typical MPG on my way to work. Mostly flat or Downhill. I usually get 22.5 MPG per tank.

Seriously though, what would have better for me to do, resurrect an old thread or start my own?
Or stated another way, which would have offended the sensibilities the least?

    Sigh...

BTW My transmission doesn't hunt for gear. I don't have any odd vibrations, barring a few exceptions I've had fantastic luck with every Toyota I've owned since 1998, and oh yeah, I love my Barcelona Red! That'll save me a few threads...

    In all seriousness...,
I love and value the information that this forum provides and am thankful that I have access to the wealth of information here!
Having been to real 3rd world S-holes, I know that I have few real first world problems.

One of those is however, reading tone of voice as written in textual words. It can be hard to sense whether sarcasm is playful or a direct dig.
Especially coming from an authority figure!

I’m extremely new to the forum and read for hours upon hours. I previously owned a 2015 2wd sr5. It averaged around 20 and long trips averaged a little more. Now I have a 2019 trd off road 4x4 and average around 20.

Reason I mentioned what I did though first sentence, take the time to read. Soon as you start reading, not just looking at the pretty trucks and pics that come along with them, you’ll learn a little slowly. Soon as you venture to a thread and start reading there, you’ll find boring topics and interesting ones. Then you’ll see links within those interesting topics and when you click them, an hour or so later you find your way back to the original topic you had your interest sparked. Then start again. Believe it or not, I’m still working on the ‘what have you done to your 3rd gen’ topic. Think it’s a sticky maybe? But reading page 6400+ working my way backwards I’ve made it to the 6100-6200 range and plan on reading them all as time goes by.

Read read read, you’ll find topics you can answer your own questions to fairly quick. My biggest issue is I don’t understand the abbreviations for many things. I want to ask but don’t want to bother someone who has been an avid member with a topic asking simple questions. I’ll get the answers eventually and if after a couple days of reading I still don’t know, I’ll ask politely in a topic that’s somewhat similar. Haven’t been disrespected by a common member or anyone with a label by their name such as vendor or mod or whatever.

Only broke people worry about MPG. Let's put that TRD intake and Pro exhaust on maybe scratch out .2 MPG more now that's saving money, but I had to finance the mods through affirm at 19% interest. Honey are we going out for Applebee's tonight? I just got paid and it will be my treat. It's four days later and Jordan is eating Mac and Cheese and washing it down with three Mellow Yellows, but can't get a grasp on why his A1C is over 12 because he's taking the pills like the doctor ordered, fuck even the dog is a diabetic in this house. In the meanwhile the TV that's about the size of a sheet of plywood has shit the bed again and well gosh darn it honey, the game is on, what are we supposed to do now? talk to each other? Naw fuck that we better get to Best Buy they're having a sale don't cha know. Yeah hun a new TV would go great with out new sofa with the build in cup holders (the built in cupholders is a sign that people are very inactive) Yet Jordan can't figure out why he keeps staring at the truss in the garage with the sense of reckoning on a Friday night, he's done the load calculations and it can't even support a static load so never mind the momentary live load if he ropes himself up. This is his life.

I liked a gal named Cheryl once, she was a sassy one, she'd wear the fancy pants to work, the type where you'd the she'd be in a motley crue video on the mtv when it was like good in stuff. Well she done broke my heart when she started seeing a bowling alley technition that drove a 1991 RS Camaro. He had these balls called the hammer and they would put it down the oiled up lane really good like. Cheryl she never wanted to hear shit about me trying to save gas in my toyoter tacoma.

LOL @ only broke people worry about MPG. I take it as a driving challenge that I enjoy; not as something that actually saves enough money to worry about.

My total spend on gas for the year will be ~$1,300. 10% of that in gas savings wouldn't even cover the dinner for 3 I paid for the other night.

    A few.
Some if you guys have the proof that these trucks are capable of getting some good mpgs. I get my best driving to work over a 15 mile trip. Gotten up to 26mpg at times. Currently on my best tank overall looking like I will see 23 average for the tank.

Just got 360 Miles out of a full tank. Probably the best gas mileage I’ve ever gotten. With RTT/Rack and Front Low Pro Bumper. Stock suspension.
