All this peat talk got me craving the sweet nectar of the holy land that is the Isle of Islay, Scotland.

It was a cost plus shipping group randomizer win. I think my spot was $5. Seemed right to chug a c+s bottle.

Just killed a bottle of OGD 114. Having a pour of plain old Henry McKenna Sour Mash 80 proof. Good sipper.

Tough to find a better bang for the buck than OGD 114. I'm going to try one of those mini charred oak spires in my next bottle of 114 to see what a little more "age" does to it.

Buddy brought by a Michter's 10 bourbon for me this evening, plus a bag of bourbon barrel aged coffee beans from a local group's New Riff barrel pick. Got the M10 for $130!

Be interested to see if the coffee has any real bourbon taste profile to it.

Probably non existent, but it's neat.

They're whole beans. I don't have a grinder. Zach saw the coffee we keep in this house.

I'll bring it to a coworker.
