Anyone revalved for those new speed humps on PCH in Leucadia ? I think their supposed to make people slow down but the faster I go the better it feels back end floats like a 72’ El Dorado but the front end feels like it needs less compression ? Maybe a flutter stack ?

I think I am leaning towards raptor liner now. I was thinking of some other shitty DIY liner. My buddy did monstaliner, but there website looks like a 10yr old designed it from the 1990's.

I think I may do a color change as well. I am leaning towards the new 'cement' color. Ill buy the tintable raptor liner and then ill buy some color matched cement tint. I think this will be awesome. I need to do some research on what to do about my existing line-x for the prep for raptor liner.

I'll post some pictures soon but I just did my whole truck in tintable raptor liner. Turned out pretty good.

I just looked at your build thread. I assume the grey is the raptor liner? What tint did you end up with?

I think I may have to make a paint booth in my driveway since my two car garage is made up of two one car doors. The truck barely fits in the garage to load the tent when I use it.

I dont have any pics in my build thread yet. The grey you see there is my old wrap. My wife clipped a tree a while back and tore through the wrap, peeled off paint and dented in the passenger side rear door and cab. I welded in new body panels but rather than try and match existing paint I just decided to paint the whole truck including my bedsides/fenders which were originally just wrapped.

    I used this tint:

    https://www.amazon.com/Custom-Urethane-Bedliner-3-Ounce-Bottle/dp/B07MSG4QQW?th=1

Comes in a bunch of colors, I used Aircraft Gray. Easy to use because you just mix one small bottle in each of your raptor liner bottles. You could probably find a cheaper option but this was convenient.

Yea, looks like there will be some coin in just tint. It will still be cheaper than paying someone to do it (line-x) etc. How many bottles did it take? I see Amazon kits of 8 bottles of tintable raptor for ~200. I assume I might need more than 8 bottles, as I don't want to run out.

Sweet. I am excited to do this (hopefully this summer). I am too lazy to wax the truck, looking forward to doing the rest of it.

I may take my fenders and hood off, and then focus on the cab.

I used 12 bottles total but I did multiple coats and I did portions of my bumpers too that were previously wrapped, I also realized after the first 4 that I wasn't getting all the liner out of the bottles with the supplied gun. Once I realized that I started pouring the left over from each bottle into the next to reduce waste. 10 bottles would probably be sufficient to give it a really good coverage.

Yeah I removed fenders, bedside, hood grill, tailgate, etc and painted them separate, then prepped the cab and painted it with one coat, then reinstalled the big items and did a final coat on the cab blending it into the pieces I painted separately.

I think the biggest issue now, is what shade of gray I want. I am on the Federal Color website. This is going to take all day..

Definitely plan on it being lighter than shown there. The tintable raptor is a off-white color. My aircraft grey was as shown on the federal color site in its own bottle but when mixed with the tintable raptor at the recommended rate it definitely lightens up quite a bit.

Does the raptor liner have a gloss finish to it ? Can you clear coat over it ?
I’ve got linex premium on my bumpers which started out gloss but has faded quite a bit... been considering stripping it all and doing exactly what you did.

Mine is pretty glossy. I shot a few things in black too and it is really glossy. Not sure on clear coating over it.
