I may be down for a day trip possibly. I’ve got to stay home and get some stuff done, considering I’ve been out of town for the past 6 weekends lol

Not quite getting outdoors, but I'm thinking I'm going to hit the Braselton Brewery with my family tomorrow afternoon.

    https://www.braseltonbrewing.com/

    I'm guessing I'll be there around 2 or 3pm.

Looking to play with my newly rebuilt 400ex at whatever Offroad park or any other legal option on July 2nd. @Built2Ride

Wont be going crazy but should be a good time. Anyone available? I can fit one more ATV or potentially a Dirtbike on the trailer

I was tinkering with my 3d printer and made a gas cap holder. They print in like 15 minutes and work great. I was thinking of making some of these as swag for the next get-together. Any ideas for what design I should put on here? Maybe the same old school logo @Built2Ride put on the coozies?

    DUDE!!! That is awesome!

I bet you could sell those on TW pretty readily. Heck, I know my brother-in-law complained about the lack of a gas cap holder when he first purchased his 2014. That was within a few days of his purchase.

I'm not sure if I could really make much of any money off of them though. How much do you think something like that could sell for? Actually, I'm surprised there's not a bunch of these for sale already from other vendors. I think I've seen someone selling one of these before, but don't remember who the vendor was.

    Gasshole! That's the one.

I'm a computer guy, not a fabricator. I don't want to go into business, just have some cool swag for the next meetup. Trading gas cap holders for beer is more up my alley than making my own gas cap holder fabrication business.

How about print something to block off the finger hole on the gas door. Almost every time I fill up, there's a wasp or two in there building a nest. Big red bastards.

I’ll definitely have some quality brews for a trade. Not having a place to keep the cap out of the way was definitely a nuisance I noticed at first fill-up. Awesome job, man.

Am I the only turd gen owner that doesn’t care if the gas cap hangs down on the plastic do-hicky while pumping gas?

Not trying to be a prick. Just never really understood the mass hysteria that erupted over the gasshole when Meso released it.

To be fair, I think every time Meso makes something there's hysteria. There's a thread on the 3rd gen forum with people bragging about how many of his exclusive mods they have. :facepalm:They're cool, but typically not super functional, and often very expensive.

I wanted to make one of these because my truck doesn't get washed often. There's always a bunch of smudges below the gas cap from the cap dangling. If I put it up in the cap holder thingamajig I printed, the dirty truck looks less dirty without me having to clean it. That said, I literally ran over a paint can today, so my truck is getting a bath this weekend for the first time in awhile.

I feel ya man. If I had a 3D printer and the skill I’d probably play around too. The gas cap thing just makes me laugh. This is the first vehicle I’ve owned that had a functioning holdermebob. I’m still half accustomed to just setting it on the tire :notsure:

Similarly I can’t identify with the Meso fanboy club. He makes some neat stuff though. But most aren’t functional enough for my needs to justify the money.

    I’ve always done this...

But Dave and Meso’s solution is prob a bit more convenient
