Northern Virginia Roll Call

The 886 are to stiff for my weight even after the bumper, winch, skids, and sliders. Gonna sell them locally as they are still great. My 885 were nice but started to get weighed down with the add ons. 620 would be perfect or 887/888 would probably work better but I just figured it is time to upgrade cus I can. Also looked at 6112 with 700# but for $400 more I can get kings so why not eh?

 

Obviously I’ve never had coilovers haha but If i were you I’d just do the Kings or ADS rather than 6112. Your truck is probably getting up there in weight so I feel like the tunability of a king or ads coilover will be worth it for you. You should definitely get them from someone that can tune them though like @ovrlndkull said.

 

Either the first or second weekend in August I want to camp at flagpole. Anyone is welcome to join. I realized today it’s closer than I thought. I’d drive over Saturday morning, head up fpk, and come down Sunday.

Just need to have my truck back together and gears broken in by then.

Yeah I definitely agree. another good reason. I'm currently checking on ADS pricing with a few vendors to see who has best deal. I already have a solid line on kings unless someone knows better?

 

Wheelers won't tune them for you. Look into accutune or filthy Motorsports they have competitive pricing and include tuning at no additional cost and free shipping. You have to call them to order and get a starting tune on the shocks

 

This is the urge I was trying to resist...I don't need to take the wife's daily driver full overlander (yet?)

But we just turned a night at the cabin into two more nights tent camping in WV sooo I can set the hook for future upgrades

Ok y'all, printer is tuned in, I'm getting better with files, and wanna hook the group up! ARB Safari grill is tuned in, I need measurements from other snorkels if people want some custom covers. I have some cool ideas. Also, anything ill else y'all want printed ill attempt. What do y'all think?!

August 10, put ill be gone the following weekend, so the first weekend I will be free as of now is Aug 24

 

That next weekend I’ll be at atr. We’ll have to put a September trip together. Or back down to the island in nc. I wanna go this year once it cools down. Hoping that keeps bugs at bay.
