Interesting, I had the Bank call me last Thursday on how my card was being used both here and in Arkansas at same time. Think that was $200-300, Bank already cleared the charges and sent letter to that effect.

I told you I was going to be in Arkansas and might need to borrow some of your money.... did you not remember that conversation?

    Possible dumb question incoming.

This last weekend I decided to check out Hayden Pass, it was along my way home so I figured why not. I heard it was a pretty easy trail and doable alone, and this was my first time taking my truck on an actual trail. I raced motorcycles (Motocross, Enduro) for 15+ years, so I felt very comfortable maneuvering and picking lines on the trail (I know these are completely different things, but to me they feel very similar).

But I was concerned about one thing... Coming across someone else on the trail heading in the opposite direction. I understand whoever is on the descent yields way to the other party, or you assess the situation and do what's practical. But some of that stretch of trail didn't have a turnoff for quite a ways.

What do most people do in this situation, I feel like it'd be best to check if the trail is clear ahead before proceeding, but that can be a long trek. And driving in reverse halfway back up the mountain doesn't sound like much fun at all.

You are correct that uphill vehicle should have the right of way but given the flood of people now off-roading don't be surprised if this isn't followed.
    More on this here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/trail-etiquette.435698/

One place I worry about this is Ophir pass, barely got by a broken down Motorcycle there and he had pulled way up into scree field.

You would be surprised at how often you can find a place to squeeze by each other when it looks like it will not work.

when I ran T-33 a couple weeks ago we ended up backing down the hill 3x for large groups of jeeps/SXS with inexperienced drivers that would not back up the trail :bananadead:

lawd if you aren't paying $45 or more for a fifth of bourbon you aren't even drinking bourbon. That's acetone with liquid smoke flavor added
