I saw 27 or 28 is open might a good date enough time to set something up

Where is a good park where we could all meet up and possibly park offroad?

 

To each there own. I'm pretty avid outdoorsman and really enjoy sleeping under the stars when I can! There is some awesome hiking out there and easy to get away from all the rat-race! Jus looking for some other areas with elevation (vs. Chisos basin). Also, Chisos lodge/cabins are closed for renovation until next year.

That's the worst and hard to get the smell out, even when you think it's gone, it's still there you just can't smell it anymore, but everyone around you can.

I've been looking for dirt roads that go.from San Antonio north for a close trail run but most county Rd in San Antonio area are paved the closes I found is north of boerne
