Im attempting to remove my seat covers, but im having trouble with the headrest. For some reason it gets stuck on the second notch. Has anyone ever had trouble with this? I know it sounds stupid, but I have no idea how to fix this with out ripping my covers. (I've checked to make sure there is no cloth or debris stuck in the hole.)

There's probably a button on one of the holes that you have to press as you pull up. You probably don't see it under the cover.

You need a small pick or use a paper clip or something and stick inside the inner hole on the base where the shafts go down through. There is a detent/locking mechanism there

They probably worked at one point in time, but they might be getting harder to use with age.

50% of the time the nylon insert comes out with the headrest posts.
