If you got a garage I think it could happen. Its that baking in the sun on hot asphalt that gets me.

I have still been working on the Z but just little bits at a time. Can't stay in the garage very long at all.

I’m debating whether or not I want to pull the bumper off of the civic this weekend, I have a carbon fiber grille for it and LED fog lights too, and both require dropping the bumper.

But there’s a company that’s supposed to be making an intercooler for the Si that is an actual improvement over stock in terms of pressure drop. They’ve said “soon” for like 2 damn months now and I know the second I give up they’re gonna release it

I have never heard anyone put more thought into shit than you. Just do it and get it over with. You will be happy you did and when the intercooler comes out it will be an easy job because you had done it before.

Too hot in the garage to much of anything! Plan for tomorrow is to start early to get my Dillon swapped over to 10mm and some guns cleaned up. It was 90 in the garage at 7:30 today!

Yeah alright I guess I will get up early and get it done.

Also don’t get me started on the overthink, I developed spacers for a speaker install to make sure the grille still laid perfectly flat with aftermarket speakers last weekend.

Everything has gotten more expensive over the years but wages/salaries have not kept pace. If you are making 46k a year and have all the financial / life obligations that most of us do, you probably shouldn’t be looking at a 38k car.

People aren't outright buying those 38K cars, they are rolling those 38K cars into 56K cars after interest, and stonefaced taking it where the sun don't shine when a financier offers them some eye-watering interest rate in the double digits.

And in a few years once that car is clapped out from neglect, they roll their negative equity into a different car. Repeat until the cycle buckles under its own weight.

But at that point the financiers couldn't give less of a shit because they've collected their take and sold the rest of the debt off to some consolidator.

We're playing the same hot potato game with credit on cars as we did with subprime mortgages. Only again, it's not a hot potato, it's a frag grenade and the people who aren't holding the potato are still going to die when it goes off.:notsure:

There is an increase in auto loan default now because of this. Also, I have heard they offer 6 or 7 year car loans? Bad idea

Speaking of that, bought this thing today. Now I just need the motor it mounts to, wrapped around by a truck
