We are in west Knoxville. Renting a townhouse for now, hoping to buy a house next year.

House work thoughts as i finally sit to relax for the day. Whiskey helps.

Guys finished new roof on the house but I still need to reseal gutter joints myself. Crew even took shop vac to attic to get loose insulation out of soffits and clean up debris that fell in during work.

I went around the house with IR thermometer toward ceilings this evening. Had a 10 degree shift along edge of one room. Rooms where I redid attic insulation a few years ago only saw shift of about 1 degree.
Sweeping out the blown insulation, putting down rolls, then spreading the loose fill back over would be really hot work so likely won't happen for like 7 months.

Finally felt like tinting another window on the house tonight and still going to do some others.
Mirrored and kinda dark but i like it. Noticed lately how direct afternoon sun was making kitchen counter warm. Thermal masses and that science BS.

If you never thought about tinting house glass, order some free tint samples and see what you think. Residential type, not auto tint. Supposedly there is a difference. My roll of auto tint specifically said automotive only, not for residential glass. Never researched why.

Murder I'm pretty sure is a no go. Probably can add arson and grand theft to that list too.

Yup. Moved back in with my mom in Nashville last summer. One day I’ll make my way back out there.
