    Any ideas?
Its not a constant so I cant go back and forth or turn wheel side to side when stopped and always have it happen. This was first time I was able to get it on video figured just try and record and see if it happens.

    Swaybar links are tight
only thing that changed before this started was dirt king LCA.

Not sway bar hitting coil etc as lift has been in for a while before this started so unless something shifted.

Haven't found anything loose so not sure where else to check.
I'm guessing its something in the steering

Cab mount bushings, maybe. Some 3rd Gen owners had then replaced under warranty at 10k miles.

Don’t know what they’re called, but the frame supports that connect to the cross member thing between the control arms and under the radiator?

    Lower shock bolts?

Boots torn? You may need someone else to turn the wheel while you look to see something pop

See my thread here. Had a similar front end noise while hitting the brakes. Fixed mine by tightening the body mount bolt closest to the front mud flap.

I’ve read about the body mounts making all kinds of noise. Never thought they would come loose, just thought they went bad. I’m checking mine now, thanks for the heads up.

Took me 3 minutes. I’m a 2016 with 50,000 miles so it’s possible they came loose. My bolt was tight enough (NY rust) I didn’t need to hold the head, just tightened the nut. If you need to hold the bolt the head is underneath the kick panel by your feet.

That’s what I was just going to ask, I’ll hold the top bolt, too. I’m only at 7k miles, but have some odd random noises like OP said.

It’s possible that my mounts there are actually shot, and by tightening it down it was just a temporary fix. But it’s been a few months and ~4,000 miles and the noise hasn’t returned. Noises and leaks are the two biggest pains to diagnose.

    Checked nothing.

Problem is it's not constant so never heard it while looking to see where it is.

Here’s the parts (this is one side) they’re not expensive, just a bitch to change from what I’ve read.

Couldn’t tell you. Tight is where I Left it. Not fucking tight, just regular tight with a 3/8” drive ratchet.

Aren't those known for making sounds like you're describing?

Anyway, hopefully the body mount is the culprit. Seems easy enough.
