    Just catching up, trying to knock out the honey-do list in the new house and get the garage setup before going full bore back into the Taco. Did we ever get the cam gears sorted three degrees retard?? I am seeing the discussions of new cams altogether which may be a bit farther, correction more money than I want to commit to the motor right now. I will dig into the SC overdrive crank pulley as well. I didn’t see the initial cost yet. The fuel rail would be nice but once again more bling than I got money for right now. I still gotta get my FIC injectors in and get busy on HP Tuning.

    The resolution was to have @mightytacoman cut the keyway with the appropriate offset opposite to the original. I still have your set of gears here at the house as I knew you were in a state of transition. Some folks have had the botched gears from the original run cut with the new keyway, and others are buying OEM/OEM replacement gears and having those machined. If you'd like to have your original gears cut, I will send those over to @mightytacoman. Just let me know what you'd like to do.

    I am easy and would rather just cut what we got if that works. I don’t have much machine work access yet. Let me know what I need to send for shipping and new cutting costs.

    I did stop by ECGS today and sit down with Paul. He is not a decision maker but did express a reasonable doubt that GB axle options could be possible. The amount of variations in the axles may be limited. However, let me get my sh!t together and I will get a list for those interested in Dana 60 rear axles.

    Here's my warranty replacement tensioner about to snap in the same spot the first one did. Getting replaced by the Roush so hopefully these worries are over

    Dude. First off, way to go! that's a whole lotta upgrades happening at one time!

    Second, you make me feel like I'm living on borrowed time with my stock 180,000 mile tensioner. I know it looks like the manufacturer changed the design or got a few bad batches, but it seems like this failure is all too common these days.

    I don't know what it is with my tensioners but I haven't had good luck with them. I'm running a 69.5" dayco belt on the 2.5 pulley so it's a snug fit. The first time I had roost's pulley wrap snugged down pretty good on the belt, but on this second tensioner I had the pulley wrap backed off a fair amount to relieve pressure on the tensioner. I'm just glad we've found better options.

    Less then 10k miles on each stock tensioner

    Yeah that sounds no good. When my stock spring coupling failed, it sounded exactly like this. I was terrified. Did you replace with solid coupling or another spring coupling?

    Don't forget your FIPC on the valve cover gaskets where the timing cover meets the engine.

    For the FIC 650 injectors I stacked two washers between the rail and intake at each bolt to space the rail for the taller injector.
