If I plop down new truck money, I want it to have what I want from the get go. No mods needed.

My empty 8.0" e-locker housing was about $350 shipped from Sacramento.

Also the 5-lug axles are SUA instead of SOA.

 

engine mounts?
has anybody heard of them breaking or cracking at any point?
my nephew is trying to help me diagnose the gremlin rattle at certain engine speeds been going on for a few months

 

Wouldn’t be hard to get a LSD installed

Yeah my mindset is that if im gonna buy new, the only thing I wanna do is take the plastic wrap off the seats and drive it. Maybe do small stuff, but save the big stuff till after its payed for.

You put plastic on it? That's hilarious.

 

They break over time. Rubber deteriorates. I did engine mounts on this Honda and the rubber came apart in my hand.

If you order or build a new truck from my dealer, its ships in and they dont test drive it untill you get there. So the factory plastic seat covers are still on.

 

Nothing. Bare axle housing, no pumpkin. They wanted $600 for the pumpkin.

If you're getting the 8.4" housing the 6-Lug pumpkins work so it shouldn't be hard to find.

 

Oh I knew that, you had me thinking you put plastic on those seats you just bought for the truck.

 

ok thanks, maybe that is why i get these passenger side rattle at every 2.1k rpm and much worse the time i took it over 3k rpm

is it a function of time or mileage?

 

would you do car payments at 0.0% apr?

 

I do have a garbage bag over my new drivers bucket to prevent the garage musk/dog hair from setting in.

 

Both. Time will kill it, and mileage will too.
