295/70/17? Did some minor trimming still rubbing

I am running a 295/70/17 on my 05 taco DC. I did some trimming and still rubbing. Any ideas guys? Would spacer help me?

2. spacers work (spidertraxx)

 

You might need just a mini 1 inch spacer. Or even a set of spydertrax. When I go to the 70 series tires I hope I have money for 5100.

 

Have you chopped your cab mounts? What exactly are you rubbing on?

 

ok the only reason you should need spacers if you are rubbing on the upper control arm, where are you rubbing it will help us narrow this down.

 

This and then chop the living daylights out of the inner fender trim.

I'm running 285/70/17 ProComp xTremes and rubbed on the cab mounts, but just a quick trim and box in...all good. Have wheel lock to wheel lock...with almost no inner fenders but im only running 5100s at 2.5 up front, nothing else.

 

I am rubbing on the inner fender, on metal, I guess that would be the cab mount. How would I go about trimming that?

 

Where are the cab mounts located? Is this hard to do? What do I need as far as tools?

 

Cab mounts are located closest to your cab...if you are looking at the drivers side front wheel, on your right. As for tools, saw's all i've been told it can be done but I took mine to my favorite 4x4 shop. He used plasma cutter then welded up a plate to "box" in the hole that was cut out, then painted over it all with undercoating. all for 100 bucks. YMMV.
