FNG here, been lurking like crazy for the last few weeks since the wife decided on a Tacoma. Ditching her JKU for a '19 TRD offroad with MT, tech and leather. We found one and have negotiated it down to about 33k, which seems decent from what I have read here. I feel I can get a little more out of them in the form of accessories, like bed mat, skid plate? etc....
Anything I should shoot for in particular? This is one of those cases of "you don't know what you don't know"

My only piece of advice, is remember which door you walked into the dealership from.

You are going to want a bed mat no matter what, might as well try to get it thrown in with the deal.

All weather floor mats, mud guards, wheels locks...just some items they may be willing to throw in.

I got mud flaps, door edge, door cup and rocker panel film. This was already on the sticker and I basically said I wasnt paying for that. All weather floor mats, trd license frames, 2 hats (one for my 7 yo daughter that I brought with me) a coffee cup, a trd lanyard, air freshners and a cold cup. The sales guy basically took me to the logo/ parts store and told the guy to put whatever I wanted to the side because the parts store was closing and we were still negotiating. When it came time to sign he brought the bag of swag over. I got what I wanted for my trade and I was happy with the otd price. I tried this when shopping for my wifes crv a couple months later and got a cold cup and an ok deal.

What does she want to do with the truck? I've never negotiated for accessories, always cash. But I would try to get a bed mat at least. The skid plates are stupid and the truck already has 2 standard plates you're paying for.

Bed mat, trifold cover, all weather floor mats, mud flaps, LED fog lights, TRD Pro Grill, etc.. all worthwhile.

It will be her daily in addition to getting use offroad. We wheeled the hell out of her jeep and it was her daily as well, but it has run it's course and needs to go.
Some really good ideas already that i had not thought of. Bed mat, flaps, never considered scoring some swag though!

I did the same thing when i bought my F350. Pushed for everything i could get thown in, then got them to let me buy a couple of things at their cost.

Whats MSRP on the truck? I feel like 33k is a great deal. My sport's MSRP was 38900 and I paid 35500. I got 1.9% int though so thats nice.

Curious, you stated she got the tech package and leather. If she got leather then she also got the premium package, correct?

If she likes to park at the mall, perhaps a pair of sidesteps - they serve to keep others from dinging your doors.

The rock rails on the Jeep were perfect for that. I will probably build some sliders for the truck.

The reason I ask is that (unless I'm mistaken) leather only comes as part of the Premium package which is quite expensive ($2625 for my 2018). So if you got both premium and tech packages included for $33K you did quite well on your price.

If you think you'll be hauling stuff/gear etc in the bed regularly, not a bad item to ask for is another set (2) of rail cleats (comes with 4 total)

Also ... front bed rail - it was eliminated for 16+ but is the same as 2nd gen

My 2019 TRDOR with Premium and Tech Packages listed for $41,170. Got it for $37,000 OTD. I was very happy with that deal. $33,000 is a steal!
