    Pros and cons here.
    I have a 2016 Tunny pro as well as a 2016 Taco.
Gas mileage on the tunny is lower.
Taco is more agile, and more fun to drive around. Zips in and out. Easier to park, maneuver, gas mileage, etc.
Tunny tows more but my Taco can pull 6k easily. Tunny sounds better if that floats your boat.
    Both trucks serve their purposes.
If I had to take a truck, 80% of the time around town it would be the Taco instead of the larger Full size.
Full size only needed in higher tow loads and work situations. It's excessive for most general applications unless you have a job that requires the size.
Tunny is a great truck that will last for years imo.

I have a Tundra also (2016). $8 a week ? Hardly. The difference in cost of a Tunny invested would trump that not only the increased cost in gas.

I owned a 2007 tundra and averaged 17-18 mpg per tank. Toyotas mpg numbers on the window stickers have always been accurate for me.

A Tundra will get 17-18mpg hwy, my Tacoma gets 20 mpg. You'll burn about 7-9 gallons more gas to drive 1000 miles. No need to work overtime, just skip Mickey D's once or twice a month.

Obviously it's the times we live in... The hybrids are coming, the hybrids are coming. Fuel economy must be an issue for someone.:D
