Rear Brakes / ABS

    I have heard my rear wheels bark during harder-than-normal breaking a few times. I thought this shouldn't happen with ABS. Is this normal?

    C4Fab LoPro, BAMF Sliders, Ext ADS 2.5’s, 4.88's, OVTune (OG to KDMax)
    They can get hot and you will feel wobble in the brake pedal like I do. Out of round drums happen if they get too hot

    That’s because you didn’t warp your drums like I did. I boiled the stock brake fluid too and then switched over to DOT 4 which was a good idea because it has a higher boiling point

    Never had them “bark/skid” before though

    Actually ABS does make loud noises when activated. Not sure if that’s what you mean but yes, ABS is very loud under sudden heavy load.

    No, this is definitely rubber on asphalt noise.

    In that case I’d definitely have them looked at. Sounds like they’re locking up. . .
