Will I get vibrated to death with the body sitting on poly mounts instead of rubber? Plus whoever did this body lift actually did it right. There's a full kit on it for lowering the shroud and raising the bumpers and everything. I'll need to find hardware too I'm sure. Too much work. I'll prolly just 'hide' the gaps and leave as is.... But I'd love to have a desert runner. Never had something I can fly down the dirt roads at 50+mph
So you welding now? The welds were looking decent man, you'll pick it up pretty quick it looks like

That's always scary to me. Not many I'd trust to do a rebuild unless I saw an open FSM with them when they're assembling everything.
But the price will attract plenty of buyers. Wonder why it needed a rebuild? These motors are generally bullet proof

    I’m rebuilding my
    Truck. But not from
The fsm completely, a lot of it is from the warranty TSB paper work

All those brackets just unbolt. And should be able to reuse the hardware. Or get a kit from
    These guys

Also, if you're concerned about that TSB about the ECM, note the TSB number and have a Toyota dealership check it out and specify the TSB by number to them.
I don't think that has anything to do with the rattle you're trying to address though.

I’ve go so far as to use yellow paint marks like the factory to mark bolts that are torqued

Oh yeah I'll bet it has the OEM hardware still there for all the things they had to drop for the lift, huh? I was just looking over it quickly and noticed all the SAE non OEM bolts but the brackets should have the originals still. I'll need the shorter body mount bolts

Holy shiz I thought that page looked familiar when I opened it. That's the same dude who was making little body lifts for the 80 and 100 series Cruisers years ago. His kits are top notch. Didn't know he did stuff for tacos but makes sense

My father works on multi-million dollar equipment. One fuck up can cost a lot. So torque specs and marking is an important thing

I only mark the heads to show it’s tight. Only ones I mark for movement are the lower control arm bolts once the trucks aligned.

I thought he was technically a Dodge technician? But had a love affair with Yota? Either way, I've seen plenty dealer mechanics that I wouldn't let within 5 feet of any of my vehicles. And I know plenty of people that aren't dealer techs that can assemble a vehicle from ground up
