Just wondering how much tailgate any of you guys are seeing in the view from the backup camera. My tailgate covers of a little over a third of the view. It just seems like after I purchased the truck I could only see the bumper. Makes me think the camera has shifted out of position??? What kind of view do you guys have? Thanks for viewing!!!

yup, something is out of alignment. I can see everything, with the edge of the bumper just along the bottom.

Ok thanks man! Should I take it to the dealer or try to fix it myself?

I can see a bit of the tailgate but pay attention as to where the bumper is. What I like it that as the bumper alines with the parking spot line or curb, as I back into a space, I know that I am right on top of it.

That is what I see as the best thing of this feature. If I had a trailer I can see that this would be great.

Don't suppose you had your tailgate down when looking? I did that once after unloading bikes and had to look into the mirror for 5+ seconds trying to figure out what the hell the camera was showing me.

Toyota all weather floor mats. Mag light that clunks around in the jack compartment. Dog hair. Dog drool on the windows.
on 09"s and 10"s it comes stock on the SR5 and above trim packages, and is mounted in the tailgate handle.
